Levi has been my all-time biggest supporter and comes with me to most every wedding set-up. He's the muscles, loading and unloading buckets and tools, and making sure they're distributed where I need them around the venue. His construction skill set has come in handy a number of times with rigging up floral pieces on arches, signs, etc. He also makes sure I stay hydrated, fed, and sane! I truly couldn't do set-up's without him by my side.
Jade Marie was born December 6th and we couldn't be more blessed by her. It's crazy how much joy such a small person can bring!! She's going to spend a lot of time strapped to mom this summer getting to smell the loveliest scents and see the prettiest blooms. I can't wait to watch her take it all in.

I'm Colette, the twenty-somethin newlywed and new momma behind the flowers. I grew up taking after my gypsy grandmother's love for all things creative and was always trying my hand at something new. When I started working at a local florist, my eyes were opened to the countless varieties and colors in the floral world, and I've been in love with this art ever since.
I married my best friend, Levi who I've known since the age of four, (ask me about it... it's a great story!) the summer of 2017. And with his encouragement, launched Bracken and Bloom that winter.
I'm fascinated by colors and textures and how they marry and blend from one floral element to the next. Developing pieces that display the Creator's remarkable design in each stem is a passion, and weddings are such a special outlet for this creativity. What a joy it is to work with brides and grooms as they prepare for their happiest day and set the foundations for their future! Each couple has a unique story and vision for their wedding. I love coming alongside my clients to help curate a detailed space that reflects the beauty in each story and makes that vision not only bloom, but gives them a wedding that they'll look back on and cherish forever.
